“I’ve always loved making and performing music and futureproof has

allowed me to step into the amazing world of the Sydney music scene. Not

only have I met some of my closest friends at futureproof gigs, but it also

gave me the opportunity to perform my first solo gig and now I have been

playing at other places too. Futureproof is far the best thing to do if you’re a

teen or young person who likes music”

Futureproof is an incredible opportunity for any new bands local or new to the area to make friends and connections with other artists. At futureproof we met the tinheads who we’ve played two shows with since which have been incredible, futureproof also creates an incredible environment for young people to share and enjoy music, when we played everyone was very accepting and supportive of everyone there. By playing at futureproof we’ve been able to play our first few sydney shows to decent sized audiences and get out there and they’re just a whole lot of fun.

We love Futureproof gigs because it gives us the opportunity and experience of playing live to an audience which is what we enjoy about being in a band. Futureproof also allows for young bands to enter into and become part of the Sydney music scene.

After no one being able to play/attend gigs during the long covid period, this was such a relief to be able to play again in front of an audience, myself and the band had such a fun time and We’re keen as for the next one.’ __________________
